Moving back to Unity

Hello, everyone!

I have a few updates for the VR game, Framework Goat and the Narwhal Engine.

First of all, for the VR game I have a few changes and news about it. After a long break we are resuming our work on it. And after a really short debate we decided to move to Unity instead of Unreal. Originally, we decided to go for Unreal so it would force us to learn how to use and work in a new tool. For the last two years, I had been learning to use it and code on it and it hasn’t been as easy as we thought. So for now, we decided to go back to Unity for now and maybe use Unreal in a near future for other projects. Also, we are now having a close deadline and we need to use our main tool for now.

Because of these reasons, we decided to move back to Unity and continue development there. We already re-made a few things and also added new stuff. With some luck, we should have something playable in a few months.

Meanwhile, I had been also working on Framework Goat and Narwhal Engine. For Framework Goat I had been adding new tools and stuff that helped me at the Minimalistic Jam 3 when making Skeleball. As for Narwhal Engine, I had been making some fixes and started to make some documentation in the website (it is still a draft).

For last, I will probably be writing a post-mortem of Skeleball and a longer one for Witchcraft in the near future. So stay tuned!
