Firenze VR: Act 1

Testing the controls

Hello, everyone!

Apart from games, Juan Cecchetto, Hugo Miraballes, Nicolás Rivero and me are working on a VR experience for a big expo the place were we work will host on the 31st of August.

We came up with the idea of making the player jump from a high point in Florence of 1500 and be able to control a Da Vinci’s machine in order to overfly the city.

From there, I had been making a set of tools that you may seen in my twitter account and also making the basic controls of the flying machine.

Meanwhile, Hugo has been making the modules of the buildings, Juan has been making some tests in Houdini, and a few shaders, and Nico made a kickass model of the flying machine.

Almost final version of the chair

Now that we have been able to test out most of the controls. We should be starting to add art to the game and have it done by the 31st of August. I will be posting more frequent updates on Twitter but also going to be adding posts to this blog.

Also, I am going to add this in Portfolio/Others once it finishes, so stay tuned!
