Sunday Devlog Update 12th of March

Hello, everyone!
So long time ago without a Sunday Devlog update because of the holidays but now I am back!
First of all, as you may already know, Asterash has released two days ago and it did very well! We won the first place of the day at Newgrounds and also got front paged. People had been playing it a lot, we have almost a 8 tries average per player wich is really great! We received also loads of cool reviews like the one from kakapants:

if you can appreciate a hard game that doesn’t make you rage quit, you just found it.

you guys really ought to expand this, it doesn’t have to be a 2 minute game and its easily going to earn you some AD revenue if its put out for mobile devices. good luck, and thanks for the game

But not everything was perfect and beautiful. Someone from where we studied or study (depends on the team member!) hacked the game and submitted an impossible score. I probably will expand my thoughts about this when I make a post-mortem but for now, I will just say that it is a really stupid thing to hack a free web game. It gives no challenge to do that and it is a free game! I mean, go and hack somebody that at least is trying to charge you. We just added simple ads that can be even blocked with ad block… But well, the good thing it is that the score was deleted and nobody else tried to hack the game, people prefer to have fun with it which is good!

Going back to the good news, I guess the game was the perfect test for Framework Mono and hope that it gets a bit more of exposure after being used in Asterash.

For last, now I will have extra time for Witchcraft since I planned to have, during my weeks, Wednesday and Thursday totally free, so it’s time to get it ready for Steam early access!

That’s all for now.

Thanks for reading!
