New work projects, new home, updates and future!

Hi everyone! How are you?
Sorry I have been very busy lately and didn’t make any updates. This doesn’t mean I haven’t been working on stuff and I am ready to show you not only about my new work projects and home but also updates of my current projects and the future ones. So let’s begin.

New Work Projects

Some weeks ago I got moved to other projects. As you may remember, I was originally on Trivia Crack World and I had been working on it for around two years. It was a really cool experience and I feel like I sorta paid a debt I had with myself of properly learning Photon and VR (even though I had done things in the past, it wasn’t on this scale at all).

So where did I head? I am now working at Word Crack, Trivia Crack Adventure and Word Crack Mix 2.

This is of course a huge new change for me and I am facing a lot of new challenges that I am looking forward to because they are letting me learn a new bunch of things. Also, it is the first time I am in one of the top games of the company in charge of the technical side so I am also excited in that sense. Anyway, I hope you have played these games before but if you didn’t yet, I believe this is a great moment to do it!

New Home

Also, a month and some weeks ago I finally moved out to a new home. For me it meant a lot because I had been saving for years, searched for months and I am still placing stuff around the new home in order to have it as I want it.

The picture is a bit old, of course, that is not the current state of the home right now, but I guess Kojima’s face summarizes my feelings during those intense days. Luckily, the place is a lot bigger and now I have my own room for working on my projects instead of using the living room. So it was worth the chaos in the end!

About personal projects

For last, about my personal projects. First of all, I will begin with Summer Snow Day. For it, we had been pushing hard in order to finish everything needed for the demo. I think we still have a small set of polishment to do to the first two chapters but the biggest difficulty ahead is the Satsu minigame right now. We decided to do it from scratch so we have it properly working. It will take a bit but once we have that, only some details will be missing and we will be ready to have our demo published. Please also follow the new posts of Happy Ghost Studio on X (Twitter).

Apart from it, with FuNaNdMoRe we are also wrapping finally Riverside Rumble. I can’t tell when it will be done since this one was always more of a chill side project but hopefully, we have it done by the end of this year so please cross your fingers.

For last, two new projects (at least) are coming ahead. We are going to participate with some friends in a game jam in October and I am also prototyping a new game that for now seems promising. I will be updating more on these two as I get to have something sharable so stay tuned!

That’s all for now, thank you for reading and see you soon!
